Abstract

The issue of divine power is one of the important issues of theology, which is a debate among thinkers. In his important work, which is a margin on the description of abstraction, Mohagheq Khafari tries to make theologians and philosophers agree on this topic, and he mentions another meaning for Ijab in order to prove the divine power through it. He considers the opinion of the philosophers about Ijab to be completely rejected and even subject to takfir. Khafri introduces two problems to the interpretation of abstraction (Qoshji) in the discussion of divine power. In response to the opposition's objections to divine power, he also gives answers that are objectionable. The problem of the present essay is focused on the discussion of divine power from the point of view of Khafiri and the problems related to it. The findings of this research show that Khafri's opinions are based on various reasons, including the truth of the conditional theorem, the objectivity of nature and attributes, the necessity of all aspects for the essential nature, the inseparable nature of the effect from the cause, the four principles of the optional verb, the non-literal nature of the conflict. In this matter, the description of the nature of inherent possibility and the correct interpretation of the meaning of requirement can be criticized.

In this research, which is organized with the aim of considering and investigating the opinions of Mohaghegh Khafri regarding divine power, the research method will be analytical-critical.
