Dr. Seyed Morteza Hosseini Shahroudi, born in 1960 in Mashhad, is a professor in the Department of Philosophy and Islamic Wisdom at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. He has completed advanced seminary studies and holds a PhD in Comparative Philosophy.
In May 2022, Dr. Hosseini Shahroudi was appointed as the head of the Department of Philosophy and Islamic Wisdom at the Faculty of Theology, Ferdowsi University.
