Conscience, and especially moral conscience, is one of the issues that most philosophers have spoken about and put forward many views. One of them is Allameh Mohammad Taqi Jafari, who has dealt with this issue more than other contemporary sages and has used many ambiguous and conflicting expressions: synonymous with soul and intellect and contrast with both, potential and actual, existing but weak and extinct. Proof and agent, fallible and infallible, absolute and relative, single and multiple. By studying all of Allameh's works and using descriptive-analytical method, this article has explained the mentioned conflicts and in addition to providing a separate solution for each one, it has also provided a final and comprehensive solution. The result of the research was that in Allameh's thought, conscience should be considered as the soul, which has many perceptive and motivational powers as well as different qualities, based on philosophical rules such as "The simple truth of all things and the lick of something minus" and "The soul in the unity of the whole." Al-Quwa", various rulings and characteristics can also be attributed to it.
