Abstract

Violence is one of the most widespread and prevalent phenomena of our day to the extent that violence plays a decisive role in the unrest and development of society. Certainly, violence, as a horrendous act of undermining the rights of others, not only has nothing to do with rationality, but with all its force, reason arises to counter violentism. Because religion is a rational matter and is closely linked to reason, violence cannot be documented and demanded of religion.In the present article, the author seeks to explore the relationship between reason and violence by using descriptive and analytical method and by applying the epistemology of theoretical reason. The purpose of this study is to prove the asymmetry between the two. On this criterion, the philosophical results of the study show that not only is there no relationship between reasoning with violence and therefore between religion and violence, but that human reason and consequently religion as a source of knowledge and education provide the context for controlling any type of violent behavior. And it requires a person to keep a safe and tranquil environment.عق
