Examining the mechanism of the language; its skills and components based on the perspective of Mulla Sadr

Abstract

Language is one of the common issues between philosophy and psychology. Mulla Sadra as the creator of a big philosophic school has made some arguments about it. In this study, the resesrcher aims to examine Mulla Sadra's arguments according to cognitive psychology and provides them as like a psychologist. It should be noted that Mulla Sadra has not considered the language and its process, neither on the basis of philosephy foundations nor psychological arguments. But there are some exact points in the word of God, needed to be noticed. General properties of language, language process and mechanism, language skills, language goals and language structure are considered as cognitive psychology and they are extractable from Mulla Sadra's works.Therefore, in this study, the researcher shows that Mulla Sadra, even explicitly as like a cognitive psychologist, has considered an issue in which European psychologists have put it into attention too many years after his death and have provided profound arguments.
